Edward Henry Castillo, 63, a resident of Albuquerque since 1979, passed away on March 6, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Castillo of Albuquerque; children, Catherine Harvey of Albuquerque, Cheryl Castillo and partner, Lori Hules of Rio Rancho, David Castillo and wife, Pam of Albuquerque and Carolyn Sanchez and husband, Roy of Albuquerque; brothers, Richard Castillo and wife, Rita, Raymond Castillo and wife, Judith, Fred Castillo and wife, Trish, all of Gallup, NM; sister, Virginia Nuanez and husband, Frank also of Gallup, NM; eight grandchildren, Justin, Branden, Alex, Emily, Renee, Evelyn, David and Alsace. Edward retired in 1980 from the U.S. Navy after 23 years of service. Since November of 1984, Edward was employed by Kirtland Air Force Base as an Acquisition Flight Chief. Edward graduated from UNM in 1983. Memorial Service will take place on Monday, March 10, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Kirtland Air Force Base Chapel, with Chaplain Amy L. Hunt, officiating.
