Obituary for Humbert

Walter Humbert, 72, a resident of Albuquerque since 1995, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2003, after a courageous battle with A.L.S. Walter was born in Mineral Point, WI on August 7, 1930. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Mildred Humbert; a sister, Joan; a brother, Duane; and a son, Scott. He is survived by his wife, Alice; three sons, Jeff and his wife, Diane, and Charles, all of Albuquerque and Steve and his wife, Jackie of Pewaukee, WI; three grandsons, Eric and his wife, Addie, Marc and Kyrc, all of Pewaukee, WI; two granddaughters, Penny Mitchell and husband, Rob and Bobbie Rivers, all of Albuquerque; a great-grandson, Justin; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis. Walter loved his family and friends and was always happy to help others. He especially enjoyed remodeling and refurbishing homes. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2003, at 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, with George Shepperson officiating.
