Obituary for Ulibarri

Isidro S. Ulibarri, 72, a resident of Las Nutrias, NM., peacefully passed away at his home onWednesday, March 12, 2003. He was a member of the San Isidro Catholic Church in Las Nutrias. Isidro retired from the Los Lunas Hospital and Training School after 20 years of outstanding service. He also retired from the Socorro County Landfill Department after serving ten years in the Las Nutrias landfill. He was a very friendly and outgoing person and he loved visiting with his family, neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Melecio in 1961; his mother, Evenea in 2002; and two brothers-in-law, Fred Hollingsworth in 1992 and Jose Griego also in 1992. He is survived by his eight brothers and sisters, Clorinda Hollingsworth of Oregon, Emma Griego of Albuquerque, NM, Robert Ulibarri of Las Nutrias, Mela Mendoza of Albuquerque; Fermin Ulibarri of Las Nutrias, Bernie Cordova and her husband, Leo of Veguita, NM; Manual Ulibarri of Las Nutrias; and Mary Chavez and her husband, Leo of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. All services will take place at the San Isidro Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the San Isidro Catholic Cemetery in Las Nutrias. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Mel and Ernest Mendoza, Robert and Kevin Ulibarri, and James and Eric Lucero. Please contact Romero Funeral Home for service times at (505) 864-8501, 609 N.
