Adriano Romero, age 86, passed away Monday, March 17, 2003 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Daisy; son, Michael Nuanes and wife, Paula; daughter, Bernadette Maes and husband, Michael; brother, Eddie Romero; sisters, Rita Gallegos, and Eva Bevington; brother-in-law, Frank Gurule and wife, Rochelle, and Eddie S. Garcia; sisters-in-law, Annie Garcia, Dulcie Silvas and husband, Raymond, Rosemary Garcia and husband, Serafin; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, other family and many, many friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5300 Phoenix Ave NE. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 20, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 21, 2003 at 10am, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
