Claudia Butler, 38, a resident of Albuquerque since 1988, died in El Paso, TX, March 13, 2003. She was surrounded by her family and is survived by her son, Shawn Siddel; daughter, Kelly Black; her parents, Bill and Rosalie Johnston; sisters, Bunny Frutos, Robin Black, Rebecca Fields, and Billie Jo Johnson; and her best friend and life partner of 23 years, Steven McBride. Claudia was a cosmetologist, enjoyed walks and camping in the Sandias and Jemez Mountains and had many friends in Albuquerque. She was full of life and love and will be truly missed by all her knew her. Claudia will be laid to rest on a beautiful family plot under a newly planted evergreen tree on the family farm in Texas.
