Obituary for Armijo

Mrs. Simonita M. Armijo, 88, a resident of Pena Blanca, New Mexico passed away on April 1, 2003. Mrs. Armijo is the beloved mother to Lydia Quintana and husband, Ruben, Sara Trujillo and husband, Freddie, Margie Romero and Bennie, Dorella Solis, Jimmy Armijo and wife, Theresa, Theresa Baca and husband, Herman, Gloria Garcia and husband, Gilbert. Mrs. Armijo is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Nazarita Montoya and Patsy Montoya; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Armijo is preceded in death by her husband, Santiago Armijo; three grandchildren, Angela, Danny and Richard. Mrs. Armijo was a member of the Catholic Church. A Visitation for Mrs. Armijo will be Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pena Blanca with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by the Blue Army. A final Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Pena Blanca with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Pena Blanca Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Vincent Ruiz, Andrew Trujillo, Orlando Sanchez, Lawrence Anaya, Jimmy J. Armijo, Melvin Sedillo and James Garcia. Honorary pallbearer will be, Anthony Aragon.
