Obituary for Sullivan

Robert Gary Sullivan M.D. of Boulder City, NV went to be with the Lord March 31, 2003. He was a former resident of Albuquerque and practiced pediatrics in Albuquerque for 30 years. Dr. Sullivan was born September 14, 1938 in Glenwood Springs, CO. He graduated from Grand Jct. Colorado High School, Mesa College, attended Denver University and graduated from the University of Colorado Medical School in Denver in 1963. He interned at Ireland Army Hospital, Fort Knox, Kentucky. He took Pediatric Residency at Wm. Beaumont Army Hospital, Ft. Bliss, El Paso, TX. He served at Ft. Gordon Army Hospital, Augusta, GA and Sandia Base Tri Service Hospital in Albuquerque. He was a Board Certified Pediatrician; a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics; and a former member of the Bernalillo County Medical Society; he was a former member of Hope Evangelical Free Church and attended Grace Community Church in Boulder City, NV. Dr. Sullivan leaves a beloved family including his wife of 45 years, Juanita; son, Jess Andrew and wife, Annegret; granddaughter, Frederika of New Iberia, Louisiana; son, Scott Daniel and wife, Stacy; grandson, Noah of Irvine, CA; daughter, Anna and husband, Kyle Hatch of Pasadena, CA; brother, Lewis Sullivan of Greeley; and uncle, Leroy Lewis of Grand Junction, CO. Memorial Services will be Monday, April 7, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Evangelical Free Church, 4710 Juan Tabo. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations may be made to Hope Church or the American Cancer Society. Dr. Sullivan died of epithelial carcinoma.
