James E. (Eddie) Hayes, born on December 23, 1926, passed away March 27, 2003. He drove truck for Consolidated Freightways and Motor Cargo. He was born in Akron Ohio, served in the US Navy, married Norma Jean Smith and drove city bus in Akron for 8 years before moving up to the big trucks. He moved his family to Albuquerque in 1969. He was also very proud of his service with the New Mexico Rangers. His wife, his four children, his three grandchildren continue to be inspired by him. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
