Obituary for Fuller

Mark David Fuller, 49, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 31, 2003. Mark is survived by his mother, Annie; loving caretakers, Almita and Rudy Pacheco of Albuquerque; loyal friends Eloy and Gary; brothers, Drew and Steve of Albuquerque; and sister, Ginger McLamore of McKinney, TX. Mark also had four nieces, Angela, Jeni, Jesi, and Sarah; three nephews, Eric, Kyle and Kory; and one great-niece, Sophia. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Fuller; and his father. Mark was born in Kermit, TX, on September 26, 1953 to Andra Lee Fuller and Annie Lee Moreau Fuller. The family moved to McLean, TX in 1957 and back to Jal, NM in 1966 where Mark graduated from high school in 1972. Mark's school days were filled with many friends and fond memories. He was an avid and gifted golfer throughout his high school days and enjoyed working in the Pro Shop at the Jal Country Club. Mark received a scholarship to play golf for Clarendon"Texas" Jr. College. After his junior college days, Mark joined the US Navy and served aboard the USS Monticello. He enjoyed traveling with Rudy and Almita Pacheco and looked forward to their next excursion. He was a good hearted, gregarious and loving person who liked to share his ideas with all. Mark's nieces and nephews dearly loved to chat with him and will truly miss not having conversations about the system. Mark loved macaroni and cheese, red beans and rice, drinking Dr. Peppers, smoking Marlboro cigarettes, and reading candy wrapper labels to the amusement of everyone. The Veterans Hospital Staff were among Mark's biggest fans and were deeply sadden to hear of his passing. Services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2003, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
