Obituary for Watts

Woodrow W. Watts, 88, died Sunday, April 13, 2003, in the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mr. Watts was born on August 28, 1914 in Monticello, Arkansas. He served in the United States Navy from 1940 through 1946 and was in 5 major campaigns during WWII. Woodrow was a 32nd Degree Master Mason, Scottish Rite, Temple Lodge #6, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter #3. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gladys, of Albuquerque; son and daughter-in-law, Claude and Lori Watts of Las Vegas NV; daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Robert Buzzell of Albuquerque; and son and daughter-in-law, Woodrow Jr. and Vicki Watts of Grandbury TX. Woodrow has nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date in Monticello, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Watts memory can be made to the Veterans Hospital, 4D, Palliatiave Care Unit, 1501 San Pedro Dr. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
