Obituary for Herrera

Joe Chris Herrera, 33, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on April 13, 2003. Joe is the beloved son of Joe R. Herrera and Ofelia Urioste. Joe is also survived by his loving children, Jayme, Matthew and Chris Herrera; one sister, Maria Herrera; God-daughter, Ashley Sanchez; grandmother, Emily Urioste; mother of his children, Geraldine; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joe was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. A Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Alex Herrera. A final Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Gene Greis. Pallbearers will be, Dennis Rosales, Damion Garcia, Elias Urioste, James Gordon, Dominic Morales and Aaron Morales. Honorary pallbearers will be, Matthew Herrera, Chris Herrera, Benny Duran, Lawrence Carabajal, Duane Archuleta, Paul Herrera, Juan Urioste III, Anthony Medrano, and Daniel Urioste.
