Betty Ruth Sherman, 68, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque; died Saturday, April 12, 2003. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Scheck of Albuquerque and son-in-law, Dave Scheck, Denise and Ken Brooks of Fresno, CA, ¯Coco Colleen and Kevin Butler of Silver City, OK, Esther Williams, Shanna and Vaughn Newman and Michelle Sherman, all of Albuquerque; brothers, Samuel and Frances Moore of Oak Ridge, TN, Nate and Linda Moore and David and Audrey Moore, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Zepha and Bill Lutz of Veguita, Rosalie ¯Poggy¯ Peckumn of Dallas, TX, Martha and Warren Lake of Farmington, Esther and Bud White, all of Albuquerque and Sarah and Doug Duarte of Veguita; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Sherman was preceded in death by her husband, William Dennis Sherman; parents, James Roy and Azie Moore; grandson, William Kenneth Brooks; and special son, Barney Harmer. Her lifetime passion was spreading her love with her family, friends and neighbors. She will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd. SE, with Uncle Paul Chavez officiating.
