Janie E. Parks, age 71, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away April 11, 2003. Janie was born November 11, 1931 in Vaughn, New Mexico and lived in New Mexico most of her life. She is survived by her Loving family, son, Roger Parks of Coraville Iowa; daughters, Deborah Summerbell and husband, Gary and Kathleen Parks of Albuquerque; grandsons, Joshua Parks and wife, Susan, Cedric Summerbell and wife, Kelli, Kevin Summerbell; and great-granddaughter, Tessa Summerbell all of Albuquerque. Also surviving Janie are her mother, Nora Hall; her sisters, Marion Gill and Carol Kennedy all of Lubbock Texas, Noreen Romero, Sue Crider of Albuquerque, and Linda Routh of Sophia, North Carolina. A Memorial Service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, on Thursday April 17, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 2520 Chama St. NE, Albuquerque New Mexico 87110 or to a charity of your choice.
