Obituary for Ewing

Charles"Charlie" L. Ewing, a gift of God was called away suddenly on April 14, 2003 to continue his journey with his dear Lord. He was a devoted father, brother and grandpa. Charlie was born on June 24, 1929 in Escabosa, NM and spent most of his life in Albuquerque. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth"Cuca" Ewing; and his brother, John. He is survived by his loving daughter, Juanita Saiz and son-in-law, Joe; granddaughters, Jolene and Jeanette Saiz; and great-granddaughter, Lexus. Charles is also survived by his loving son, Phil Ewing and his wife, Judy; grandchildren, Tracey Montoya and husband, Jerry, Shelly Montoya and husband, Eric; great-grandchildren, Jerry, Phillip, Julia Amber, Theresa Angelina, and Ross Vaughn; brothers, Feme, Victor, Andy, and Tony; sisters, Cleo and Leonela. Our beloved father was a member of Sangre de Christo Catholic Church. Services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery. He will be missed.
