Obituary for Noble

Marion Neil Noble was Born May 30, 1916. He passed away in Poway, California on April 15, 2003. A former resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, Neil was born in Keys, Oklahoma and moved to Belen, New Mexico in 1937. He left New Mexico, for California in 1952 but returned in 1987. He again moved to California in 2001 to be near his family and loved ones. Neil worked as a carpenter until joining the city of San Diego as a senior building inspector. He retired from the city of San Diego in 1987. Neil was preceded in death by Grace, his wife of 59 years. He is survived by daughters Mary Ann Griffin, and husband, Gerrie, of Ramona, California and Cora"Dude" Green and husband, Eddie, of Aledo, Texas; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; older brother, Clyde and wife, Blanch, of Spring Valley, California; sister-in-law, Sue Boggus of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; brothers-in-law, Perry Boggus and wife, Peggy, of Jarales, New Mexico, Roy Boggus of Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews. Neil was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Belen, New Mexico and later attended the Assembly of God Church in Poway, California. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #576 in El Cajon, California. Services will be held at the First Assembly of God Church in Belen, New Mexico on Monday, April 21, 2003 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Greg Burchfield officiating.
