Obituary for Narvaiz

JoAnn Narvaiz, age 68, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother and sister was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Wednesday, April 23, 2003. JoAnn was a resident of Pena Blanca, NM. She loved playing Bingo; participating in activities at the Community Centers; and especially spending time with her precious grandchildren and family. JoAnn was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Narvaiz. She is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Narvaiz and fiance, George Gabaldon, Annette Narvaiz and fiance, Gene Segura, Richard Narvaiz, Don Narvaiz and wife, Genie; her precious grandchildren, Kenny Narvaiz, Dana Narvaiz, Danny Narvaiz, Ricky Narvaiz, Vincent Narvaiz, Angelo Narvaiz, Joe Narvaiz, and Savannah C de Baca. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Father Ramon Aragon, Clarabell Padilla and husband, Nick, Laura Aragon and husband Jimmy, CF Lucero and wife, Teresina, Phil Lucero and wife, Bessie, Fermin Lucero, Jr., and Isaac Lucero and wife, Bernadette; sister-in-law, Andrea Lucero; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. JoAnn will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. Visitations will be held Friday from 6:00 p.m. till the time of the Rosary at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pena Blanca, NM. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. also at the church, with the Father Ramon Aragon as celebrant. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Pena Blanca. Casket bearers will be Ricky Narvaiz, Kenny Narvaiz, Jason Gabaldon, Joe Narvaiz, Angelo Narvaiz and Vincent Narvaiz.
