Philip G. Doyle, 72, a 10 year resident of Rio Rancho, died April 24, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Virginia Doyle of Rio Rancho, NM; son, John T. Doyle and wife, Barbara of Hudson, NH; grandsons, Patrick J. and Ryan C. Doyle; sister, Mary Jane E. McArthur and husband, Earl of Cohasset, MA; and several other family members. Philip grew up in Woodland, ME before moving to Chelmsford, MA where they lived for 30 years. He was a member and trustee of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, a member of American Legion Post #23 of Woodland, ME. He enjoyed hiking and was an active volunteer of the YMCA Westside AOA's, and also a volunteer at the Rio Grande Zoo. Friends may visit French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd., NW, Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorial service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 2701 The American Rd., Rio Rancho, with Rev. Jeannine E. Lamb, officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
