Obituary for Dollahon

Derrell D. Dollahon, 78, a resident of Albuquerque for 56 years, died Monday, May 5, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy June Dollahon; sons, Daven D. Dollahon and wife, Rebecca and Daniel E. Dollahon; daughter, Diane D. Dunn and husband, Jim, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Rachel B. Watson, Corey Dunn Chavez and Tyler J. Dunn; brother, Bill Dollahon and wife, Gloria; sisters-in-law, Lee Dollahon and Libby Dollahon and Aunt Martha. Derrell was born and raised in Roswell, NM. He served in the Air Force and Infantry in WWII and was a proud and loyal American. Derrell graduated from UNM and was a member of Phi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He worked at Sandia National Labs for more than 30 years. Derrell was a dedicated Lobo Fan and supporter throughout his life. He loved to watch his grandkids play sports, loved his dogs and enjoyed boating with his family. He attended Montevista Christian Church. Derrell was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Services will be held Thursday, May 8, 2003, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
