Margaret N. Laben, 68, a resident of Albuquerque passed away suddenly Saturday, May 3, 2003. She is survived by her husband, George J. Laben; her son, Steven Collins of Burleson, TX; sisters, Mary Alice Taylor of Albuquerque, Lucille Dittes of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; granddaughters, Christy Collins of San Francisco, CA; and Amber Duddleston of Lomoni, Iowa; stepson and daughter-in-law, Phil and Robin Laben; and step-granddaughter, Amanda of Albuquerque. Her family will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lucy M. Duddleston. She was very active in the China-Burma-India Association, assisting her husband. Margaret was born in La Junta, CO, September 17, 1934. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 8, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Major Baisden of Rancho Cordovo, CA, is officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. Interment to be in Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens in Klamath Falls, OR.
