Obituary for Mascarenas

Henry David Mascarenas, 69, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, died Thursday, May 15, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Isabel Mascarenas; daughters, Virginia Hundley and Loretta Benavidez and husband, Joe, all of Albuquerque and Ruby Vallejos and husband, Bowen, of Aztec, NM; son, Bryant Mascarenas, of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Heather, Bobby, Alex, Bonifacio and Dominique and great grandchildren, Sylvia, Diona, Symphany, Jonah, Zachary, Isaiah, Lybertee and Dominico. Mr. Mascarenas retired after serving 22 years in the U.S. Air Force having tours of duty in Korea and Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, camping and working on cars. Mr. Mascarenas was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all those who knew him. Rosary will be recited Monday, May 19, 2003, 6:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 20, 2003, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas at Tennessee. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
