Obituary for Atwood

Jean W. Atwood, 90, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2003 after a lengthy illness. Jean was preceded in death by two husbands. She is survived by her daughter, Donna and son-in-law, Meir Zatoune; and her two grandchildren, David and Amanda. During WWII she was a welder in the shipyards of San Francisco, CA. Jean made her home in Grants, NM from 1958 to 1988 where she loved to work in her garden and enjoyed oil painting. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was past president of the Cibola Hospital Auxiliary. Jean moved to Albuquerque to live with her daughter and family in 1989 after suffering from a stroke. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
