Obituary for Poulin

Rita Angela Poulin, 54, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 19, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Louis Poulin of Albuquerque; her five children, Rex Joseph Baum and wife, Kerri of Rio Rancho, Bobbie Kay Sanders and husband, Mark of Rio Rancho, Belinda DelBosque and husband, Jim of Virginia, Patrick Allen Poulin and wife, Veronica of Albuquerque and Terri Louise Rudder and husband, Benito of North Corona, CA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Jim Coy and wife, Jane of Buda, TX, Mark Sylaart and wife, Carol of Beaverton, OR and Fred Sylaart and wife, Charleen of Cavour, SD. Rita was related to the Patton and Dobell family of Holbrook, Arizona. She is preceded in death by one sister, Christine Sylaart, and her natural mother. Rita was a member of the Auxiliary VFW Post 5890 in Rio Rancho. She loved to ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles and was a Harley Owners Group member. Rita was employed as a Registered Medical Assistant at St. Joseph West Mesa Hospital for 16 years. Rosary will be recited on Monday, May 26, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Friends may visit French Mortuary - Westside Chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110 Attn: Lorraine West.
