Obituary for Quintana

Robert Quintana, 81, a resident in Albuquerque since 1953, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003. He is survived by wife, Mary Jane Quintana: son, Michael R. Quintana, Sr. and wife, Ayla D. of Rio Rancho; grandchildren, Michael Quintana, Jr., Mark Anthony Quintana, and Ayshea Quintana; brother, Candido Quintana of Chicago, IL; sister, Consuelo of Garden City, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Quintana was veteran of the US Navy, where served on the U.S. Honolulu Flagship of the Pacific Fleet. He served until the ship was decommissioned. Mr. Quintana received six bronze stars for all of his efforts. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption, Lomas and Tennessee NE, with Father Michael Cimino, Celebrant. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 1:30 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
