Obituary for Greenblatt

Shirley, mother, Oma, friend, an Albuquerque native, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2003 following a lengthy illness. She was born September 23, 1934 and attended schools in Albuquerque and was a member of the third graduating class of Highland High. She attended college in Fremont, Nebraska. Later she received a degree as an LPN. Shirley was an avid duplicate bridge player, belonging to the Albuquerque Bridge Club. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She also served as director of the Family Support Residents of New Mexico for the Ronald McDonald House from 1984 to 1991. Mrs. Greenblatt was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Greenblatt, M.D. and her parents, Otto and Ann Skinner. She is survived by her children, Lisa Mowrer and husband Fred, Dori Clemens, Chip Gibbs and wife, Melissa, and Brad Gibbs and wife, Kristi; grandchildren, Jonathan Gibbs, Chelsea Mowrer, Colton Mowrer, Cody Clemens, Ana Clemens, and Daniel Clemens. Memorial services are pending.
