Obituary for O'neill

Tom Lee O'Neill, age 41, a resident of the East Mountains and Albuquerque for 15 years, died Thursday June 12, 2003 following an accident. Tom was a true lover of life and will be missed by all his family, friends, fellow musicians, and work colleagues. He was a dedicated physical therapist and a band member of the Wild Cards. He also coach junior wrestling for Valley Wrestling. Tom was a wonderful and loving father, husband, son, and friend. He is survived by his wife Rene O'Neill of Albuquerque; three daughters, Janine O'Neill and Jacqueline O'Neill both of Stanley, New Mexico, Frida O'Neill of Albuquerque; one son, Adam Torres of Albuquerque; his father, John O'Neill of Wisconsin; his mother, Florence O'Neill of West Virginia; two brothers, John O'Neill and wife, Jody of Delaware, Jim O'Neill of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews. A rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2003 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos RD. NW. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2003 also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Fr. Joe Vigil celebrant. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery with Jim O'Neill, John O'Neill, Doc Harris, Gary Ford, Eldin Freeman, Doug Thrasher serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Adam Torres, Jonathan O'Neill, Ian O'Neill, Trevor O'Neill, and Patrick O'Neill. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a memorial fund set up in the name of Tom O'Neill and Jacob Goodyear in C/O the Rio Grande Credit Union 1401 San Pedro Dr. NE 87110.
