Obituary for Walker

Marshall Brian Walker, 63, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 16, 2003, after a long battle with COPD. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Julie Walker; his loving daughter, Leah Kirk and son-in-law, Scott Kirk of Columbus, GA; his special son, Donnie Walker and daughter-in-law, Donna of Albuquerque; and his precious grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren Kirk of Columbus, GA. Brian was born in Santa Rita, NM, along with his twin brother, Lance. In addition, he is also survived by his dear mother, Virginia Walker; his twin brother, Lance Walker and wife, Sandra; his sisters (also twins), Sandra Rockwell and husband, Phil and Karen Wilder and husband, Don, all of Albuquerque; and many close relatives and friends. He had a deep love for his family and his country and served proudly in the United States Marine Corps and the US Army, having been awarded a Bronze Star Medal. We are all very blessed to have had Brian as a part of our lives. Private family services will be held at a later date at the NM Veterans' Memorial Park.
