Obituary for Lopez

Isaac Lopez, 59, was welcomed into the hands of our Lord and Savior Monday, June 16, 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aristeo and Desideria Lopez; brother, Andres Lopez. He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Kathy Lopez; four sons, Isaac Randy Lopez and wife, Deidra, Christopher Lopez and girlfriend, Micayla Salazar, Paul Perea and wife,Stephanie, Kevin Perea; daughter, Melanie Lopez and boyfriend, Jose Garcia; four granddaughters, Merceds, Santana and Brianna Lopez, Elisha Carrillo; four grandsons, Christopher Lee Lopez Jr., Kevin Ray, Joshua and Julian Perea; brothers, Aristeo Lopez Jr. and wife, Mary, James Lopez and wife, Angie; sisters, Jackie Zamora, Jennie Rivera and husband, Sam, Frances Lopez, Mary Jaramillo and husband, Phil, Edwina Tabares; Godson, Melvin Rivera; many nieces and nephews. Isaac retired from the city of Albuquerque Sun Tran after 20 years of service, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving the Marine Corps from 1966 - 1968. Isaac was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish. Isaac will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m., Thursday June 19, 2003 at the Church of Ascension 2150 Raymac Rd. SW. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:00 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2003 at the Church of Ascension with Fr. Edmund Savilla celebrant. Interment will follow in Santa Fe National Cemetery and serving as Pall Bearers will be Herman Zamora, J.C. Lopez, Sammy Rivera, Phillip Jaramillo, Paul Lopez, Willie Lopez, James Lopez, Jr. and Melvin Rivera. Honorary Pall Bearers will be William Tabares, Michael Dean Rivera and Billy Jaramillo.
