Linda Hibbs Ebbesson. Wednesday, June Family Memorial Services will be held for Linda Hibbs Ebbesson at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 19, 2003, at Sacred Heart Church in Shreveport, La. Mrs. Ebbesson, 52, a resident of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, died on June 15, 2003, in Shreveport, La. She was born on October 19, 1950, in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, and was a longtime resident of New Orleans. Linda was a 1968 graduate of Mercy Academy High School in New Orleans and attended Newcomb College, New Orleans. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Bernt Ebbesson. Other survivors include her daughters, Ruth Beeler and husband, Alex of Williamsburg, Va., Karin Ebbesson of Ogden, Utah, and Heidi Ebbesson of Trenton, N.J.; her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Richard G. Hibbs of Shreveport; one brother, U. S. Navy Capt. Richard Hibbs, Jr. and wife, Susan of New Orleans; one sister, Mary Jo and husband, Harlan Kirgan of Grand Coteau, La. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister, Linda will be remembered as a very special person who always put the needs of others before herself.
