Obituary for Arellin

Joe M. Arellin, 74, passed away on June 20, 2003 peacefully at his home with his family and friends at his side. He was a long time resident of Belen, businessman, cattle rancher, and member of the international Union of Operating Engineers local 953. He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Ester Arellin, brother Roman and three sisters; Omessima, Jesus, and Epiphania. He is survived by six children; Danny of Belen, Freddie and his wife of Peralta, Linda of Belen, Robert of Albuquerque, Deborah and husband Don Narboe of Belen, Charlene and husband Larry Mccause of El Cerro. He is also survived by four grandsons; Christopher Baca, Emanuel Arellin and his wife Tina, Stephen and Ryan Narboe, and one great grandson, Matthew Arellin. Services will be held at 1st Assembly of God, 19398 N. Hwy 314, in Belen, New Mexico with visitation from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, June 23, 2003, with funeral services at 10:00 am on Tuesday, Pastor Greg Burchfield officiating.
