Jesse Valdez, 70, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 21 years LaVonne Valdez; daughter, Sandie Buehrer, and husband, Mark. Other surviving family is Vonda Cheshire and husband, Ray; Mike Addy and wife, Brenda; six grandchildren, Jessica Buehrer, Shawn Michael Baber, Ashley and Chani Addy, Mark Cheshire and Jennifer Petersen. Mr. Valdez was a member of the New Mexico Horse Breeders Association and the New Mexico Horsemen's Association. Services will be held Monday, 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Rev. Chip Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie Fowler, Jerry Nicodemus, Bruce Brinkley, Carl Dahl, Julian Luna, Dee Tucker and Dr. Bruce Talsma.
