Roger B. Rice, 91, died Friday, June 27, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Jessie; children, Beverly Nelson of Nucla, CO, William Rice of Cleveland, OH and Betsi Garner of Wimberley, TX; and four grandchildren. Mr. Rice was born in Naugatuch, Connecticut in 1912. He received a chemical engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati. He married Jessie Boon in 1939. During his career Roger managed chemical, plastics, and nuclear research plants in five states. He served on the Board of Elders of two churches. A Memorial Service and luncheon will be held at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio Dr. NE, at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2003.
