Alice T. Romero, 84, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, July 14, 2003. She is survived by her son, Sam Candeleria and wife, Bella M. of Albuquerque; daughter, Mary Jane Owen and husband, Hal of Colorado; sons, Robert A. Romero of Albuquerque and Jim Romero and wife, Norene of Los Lunas, NM; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sister, Reta Ruth of Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abel Romero in 1996. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, July 16, 2003, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 17, 2003, 9:30 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Pl. SE, with Father Robert A. Chabot, SSS, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James A. Romero, Rick L. Romero, Mark A. Romero, Al Montoya, Bryan Romero, and Todd Kersting.
