Leroy F. Gurule, 57, of Albuquerque, formerly of Pilar, NM left this world to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 10, 2003, in Pueblo, CO. He is preceded in death by his parents, Filemon Gurule and Leonarda Archuleta de Gurule. He is survived by his former wife, Gladys P. Gurule of Pueblo, CO; two sons, Craig Gurule of Denver, CO, and Charles Gurule of Pueblo, CO. He is also survived by one grandson, Joshua Gurule of Pueblo; and brothers and sisters, David Gurule (Diana), and Rueben Gurule of Taos, Rebecca Acosta (Rudy), Esther Torres (Herman) of Albuquerque, and Angie Gurule of Bloomfield, NM; numerous nephews and nieces, a special friend, Agnes Sanches, and many other relatives. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred NW, in Albuquerque at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2003. Arrangements were made by Romero Funeral Home, Pueblo, CO.
