George A. Pfeil Jr, formerly of Melrose, MA, and a resident of Albuquerque for the past 14 years, died on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 following a long illness, which he fought with dignity and courage. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 19, 2003, at 10:30 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 12500 Carmel NE (just West of Tramway Blvd.). A reception celebrating George's life will be held at the family home, on Saturday, immediately following the Mass. A private burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Amy Tarnower, MD and Lovelace Hospice for the gentle and loving care provided.
