Kathryn E. Lawrence, age 48, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2003 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Kate was a devoted daughter to her father, Saul Kaye, and loving mother to her daughter, Masha Alexandra Lawrence. Kate will be remembered as a gifted musician, a dedicated teacher and a passionate, vibrant life force. Kate touched and shaped the lives of all who knew her and she will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Services will be Sunday, July 27, 2003 at 3:00 p.m., at the First Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle N.E., with a reception to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Kate Lawrence Fund, c/o Rainbow House International, 19576 Highway 314, Belen, New Mexico 87002.
