Walter Olds, a resident of Albuquerque since 1988, died July 23, 2003. He was a graduate of Connecticut University and Boston University Graduate School with a Masters in Organic Chemistry. Walter was a consultant at Arthur D. Little, Cambridge, MA for 25 years and was listed in"Who's Who in America's Men of Science". He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hughes Olds; two daughters, Kathryn of San Mateo, CA and Susan of New York City, NY; sister, Dr. Claire Olds of Saratoga Springs, NY; son-in-law, John Picariello; and grandson, Benjamin Olds Picariello of New York City, NY.
