Obituary for Archunde

Mrs. Esfrada Archunde, 88, a resident of Albuquerque and a former resident of Seboyeta, New Mexico passed away on August 24, 2003 peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family. Mrs. Archunde is the beloved mother to Pauline Padilla and husband, Cecil, Myrna Chavez and husband, Frank, Pilar Griego, Margaret Romero, Lorenzo Archunde and wife, Billye. Mrs. Archunde is also survived by her sister, Becky Ruby of Winslow, Arizona; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sisters-in- law, Mina Archunde and Adela Marquez; other sisters-in- law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Archunde was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mrs. Archunde will be Wednesday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyta, New Mexico with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Seboyeta Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Robbie Griego, Bryan Romero, Simon Padilla, Damian Rippee, John Valdez and Mark Griego. Honorary pallbearers will be, Ben Padilla and Dominic Griego.
