Obituary for Jacobson

Blessed by God and now in His Loving Care, we mourn the passing of Mrs. Lois M. Jacobson, friend, sister, and aunt, who died Friday, August 22, 2003. Lois was born to Mary and Bascomb Hamner in Benjamin, Texas, on October 14, 1911. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris A. (Jake) Jacobson, in March of 1997. Lois and Jake were married May 25, 1932. They were longtime residents of Albuquerque, having settled here in 1946. Lois was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church. She received recognition as a fifty-year member of Eastern Star. Other affiliations include the Albuquerque Duplicate Bridge Club. Lois is survived by her brother, C.R. Hamner of San Angelo, Texas; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews; and their families; godchildren and their families; and an extended family of dear loving friends and neighbors. An interment ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2003 at 10:00 a.m., at the Sunset Wall, Sunset Memorial Park 924 Menaul NE. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lois M.
