Vestal Bates Tunnell, born November 14, 1916 died in Albuquerque on August 18, 2003. She is survived by her son, Jerrold and his wifem Marlene; and grandson, Matthew of New Jersey. She is also survived by sister, Pauline Bradley; and brother, Bill Bates of Lubbock, Texas. She was preceded in death by daughter, Joanne and husband, Homer of 52 years. She was a long term resident of Farmington before moving to Albuquerque, where she was a member of St. Stephen's United Methodist Church. Sunrise Society, 7601 Wyoming NE serving the family of Mrs. Tunnell.
