Obituary for Maldonado

Estolano Ray Maldonado, age 72, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Thursday, August 21, 2003. Estolano was born in Tajique, NM to the late Bernardo and Anita Maldonado; and was a resident of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by a son, Ray Maldonado; and is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Maldonado of the family home; his children, Tony Maldonado and wife Felisa of Albuquerque, Molly Griego and husband Gerald of Alaska; his precious grandchildren, Alyssa Stringer and husband Matthew, Carlos and Celina Maldonado; his great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Griego and Natalie Stringer. Also surviving are one brother, Pat Maldonado; sisters, Mary Otero and husband Albino, Barbara Otero and husband Ruben, Emily Perea, Margaret Miera and husband Jimmy; and many more other relatives and friends. Estolano will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Patrick Maldonado, Paul Perea, Nestor Otero, Frank Creamer, Ismael Creamer and Matthew Stringer. Services are entrusted to: Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street NW 898-3160
