Obituary for Endres

Lillian K. (Lilly) Endres, 66, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2003. Lilly was born June 17, 1937 the daughter of James and Katherine Morgan in Raton, NM. Lilly graduated from Valley High School in 1955. She married Hugh Endres June 13, 1957. She and Hugh moved to Southern California in 1959 after Hugh graduated from UNM. Lilly and Hugh returned to Albuquerque in 1988 after Hugh retired. Lilly loved to play golf and was quite artistic; she loved to create oil paintings, make painted rocks and to crochet various scarfs and pot holders. Nearly every person she had contact with has a gift of a scarf, rock, or pot holder. Lilly enjoyed attending Lobo basketball games and stopping at Laughlin, NV when going to California to visit her two sons. Lilly was a great mother, whose life revolved around her two children. She loved her family; she possessed an admirable quality of limitless, unconditional love for her husband, sons, grandson, father, brother, and sister and her friends. Lilly is survived by her husband; two sons, Kelly Endres of Tustin, CA and Brian Endres and wife, Cindy of Lake Elsinore, CA; grandson, Logan Endres of Tustin, CA; father, James Morgan Sr. of Albuquerque; brother, Jim Morgan and wife, Pat of Albuquerque; sister, Barbara Morganari of Fremantle, Australia; two nieces, Rhonda Douville and Danielle Trodde. A Visitation will be held this evening, Friday, August 22, 2003 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service being held at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd.
