Obituary for Buller

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday August 20, 2003

Vicki Ellen Buller, 53, passed away on Thursday morning, August 14, 2003. Vicki was born in Great Falls, MT on January 1, 1950 to Arthur and Betty (Turner) Hajek. She graduated from C.M. Russell High School in Great Falls. Vicki married her high school sweetheart Richard after graduating in 1968. Vicki was the consummate salesperson. She had her own home based business for many years in Montana, Rio Rancho, and Monterey, CA. She touched hundreds of people with her gracious, outgoing, and caring personality. Vicki loved all kinds of music, especially the blues and attended every festival and concert she could. Vicki and her husband moved often, but her motto was"Grow where you're planted" and she left good friends wherever she lived. She will be sorely missed by her friends, family and all she came in contact with. We take comfort that she has taken flight as an angel. Vicki is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard; two daughters, Melissa Buller of West Yellowstone and Aimee (Neal) Anderson; grandson, Nathan of Las Vegas; two sisters, Linda Roloson, Wendy Gray; mother, Betty (Turner) Higgins; father, Arthur Hajek; and many in-laws. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Hajek. A Memorial Service was held at Dahl Funeral Chapel on Monday, August 18, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Vicki's ashes will be scattered in a mountain meadow at a later date.
