Obituary for Herrera

Mr. Juan L. Herrera died Monday, August 18, 2003 in Albuquerque at the age of 90. Mr. Herrera was preceded in death by his wife, Eufemia Herrera and son, Ernest Herrera. He was a veteran of World War II and was also a member of the American Legion Post 82. Mr. Herrera is survived by five children, Juanita and Frank Garcia, Adela and Rudy Lucero, Carlos and Jessica Herrera, David and Nora Herrera, and Patsy and Angelo Sisneros; two brothers, Sigfredo and Carlos Herrera. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Herrera will be held on Thursday at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at San Carlos Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Herrera, Ernest Herrera, David Herrera, Robert Herrera, Angelo Sisneros, Johnny Gonzales, Yusvanni Lopez and Edward Lucero. Honorary pallbearers will be Suzanne Gonzales and Liz Herrera. Visitation for Mr. Herrera will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third Street SW 247-4124.
