Obituary for Alvidres

Mr. Henry Alvidres Sr., 63, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family on August 5, 2003. Mr. Alvidres is the beloved husband of 38 years to Mrs. Yolanda Alvidres. Mr. Alvidres is survived by one daughter, Grace Saavedra and husband, Mike; one son, Henry Alvidres and wife, Cindy; five sisters, Edna Barela and husband, Johnny, Jennie Lou Meehan and husband, Mike, Rose Yuhas and husband, John, Priscilla Kliem and husband, Ralph and Mary Frances Alvidrez; two brothers, Reyes Alvidrez and wife, Minerva and Ruben Alvidrez; five grandchildren, Sophia and Jacob Saavedra, Cole Gamrath and Daniel, and Christopher Alvidres; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Alvidres was a Veterean of the United States Navy serving during Peacetime. A visitation for Mr. Alvidres will be Sunday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Eileen Montoya. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Funeral Service to be held at 9:00 a.m. by Deacon Harry Beare. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. with full Military Honors by the D.A.V. #3. Pallbearers will be, Michael Alvidrez, Steven Salais, Alfonso Salais Jr., Steven Rosales, Michael Saavedra and Frank Morales. Honorary pallbearers will be, Joe Martinez and Frank Rosales.
