Jane Collins, 67, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Donald Collins; daughter, Monique and husband, Dennis Walters; granddaughter, Danielle Walters; sisters, Bertha and husband, Ralph Dominquez, Thelma and husband, Arthur Trujillo; brother, Joe Cordova and wife, Merlinda; also several nephews and nieces. Jane graduated from Menual High School, Albuquerque, New Mexico. She continued her education, earning both her bachelor and master degrees from Highland University, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Jane taught school in Albuquerque, Crownpoint, Alaska, Peru, South America. She went on to teach the gifted students in Bakersfield, California for 30 years. Services will be held Friday, August 8the at 10:30 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico at 2:30 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
