Anna Marlene Placencio, age 51, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 4, 2003. Survivors include her husband, Ruben Placencio of the family home; daughters, Jamara Perea and husband, Lawrence of Albuquerque, Arlayna Perea of Albuquerque, Tanya Placencio of Phoenix, AZ; mother, Edna Bachicha of Albuquerque; sister, Dolores Thompson of Albuquerque; brother, Walter Bachicha and wife, Theresa of Alameda, CA; grandchildren, Destiny Rogers of Albuquerque, Eric Bega of Corcoran, CA and Pricilla and Christian Molina of Phoenix, AZ. Marlene was preceded in death by daughter, Consuelo Catalina Placencio; and sister, Rita Rubio. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2003 in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2003 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. Dennis Garcia, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Serving as Casketbearers will be Richard Garcia, Michael Rubil, Noel Bachicha, Arthur Martinez, Erasmo Acosta Jr. and Rito Placencia. Honorary Casketbearers will be her grandchildren.
