Obituary for Klamerus

Kathlyn Moore Klamerus, 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2003 at her home, following a long fight with cancer. She is survived by her three sons James M. Klamerus of Henderson, NV, Thomas M. Klamerus of Monterey, CA, and Eric W. Klamerus of Albuquerque, NM; one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Klamerus; and two grandchildren, Jamie E. Klamerus and Brooke Kathlyn Klamerus all of Henderson, NV; three brothers, William Moore, Robert Moore and Morris Moore. Kathlyn was born in East St. Louis, IL and lived in Illinois until moving to Albuquerque in 1960. After raising her three sons, she began working for the Albuquerque Public School system and retired in 1991. Since retirement, she has enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 2, 2003 at 10:00 am at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria Rd NE, a celebration of her life will follow. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Her family is grateful to all her friends who have provided much support prior to and during her illness. We are particularly grateful to the Kane family who has adopted her as one-of-their-own and provided her with so much happiness and joy.
