Loretta F. Cassell, 81, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, August 26, 2003. She is survived by her daughters, Kay Carmichael and husband, Danny of Inlet, NY, Jean Paananen and husband, Orman of Albuquerque, and Pat Mapa and husband, Michael of Reno, NV; seven grandchildren, Robert, Janice, Denise, Trish, Ernest, Scott, and Steve; and three great-grandchildren, Riley, Brodie, and Chelsea. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cassell in 1992. Mrs. Cassell was a member of St. John's Methodist Church. She was a registered nurse and worked for the NM Department of Public Health in Roswell, NM for many years. Memorial services will be held at St. John's Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE, Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Private family memorial services are also planned.
