Jewel Ilene Graham Johnson, 97, a resident of Albuquerque since 1977, died Monday, August 25, 2003. She is survived by her sons, John Johnson and wife Dianna of Albuquerque and Michael Johnson and wife Gaye of Phoenix, AZ; daughter-in-law, Joyce Johnson of Vidor, TX; granddaughters Sherry Marquez of Vidor, Kristine Thibodeaux of Colorado Springs, CO, Deena Johnson of Sugarland, TX, and Jessica Johnson of Albuquerque; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert W. Johnson Jr. and her grandson, Robert E. Johnson. Jewel was a long-time elementary school teacher in Vidor, TX before moving to Albuquerque. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2003, at 10:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
