Obituary for Ware

Patricia (Pat) Ann Ware, 80, wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend died Sunday, August 24, 2003 at home, losing her battle to cancer, surrounded by family. A resident of Corrales for 40 years, Pat was born August 21, 1923 to Joseph Toothman and Elva Roseland Robinson Toothman in Bend, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one brother-in-law. Pat is survived by her six children, Patricia Diane, Dennis Eugene and wife Barbara, Bert Wayne and wife Judy, Gayle Scott and wife Jody, Wesley Ray and Janet and Barbara Jean Ware. She is also survived by Barbara Barbee, her sister; ten grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Pat has a very large extended family in her friends at the Indoor Mercado, her friends at First Baptist Church of Alameda and Sandia Baptist Church, along with those she worked with at Del Norte High School and Corrales Elementary School as a teacher's aide in special education for ten years. She was proficient in sign language. Pat was loved by all who knew her because she was so good at loving everyone. A viewing and services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Alameda on Friday, August 29, 2003, from 7:00pm to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral will be on Saturday, August 30, 2003 at l0:00 a.m. with internment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
